These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Simply Cozy Homes website, our online store, and any order you place with us.

By using this site, subscribing to our emails, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Please read the Shipping, Warranty, Privacy, and Affiliate Disclosure pages too. They form part of these Terms.

Who We Are

Simply Cozy Homes is a home decor and home essentials brand. We do two separate things:

  • We sell products directly through our own online store.
  • We publish buying guides and product picks. Some of those pages link to Amazon and other retailers.

Two Ways to Buy, Two Sets of Terms

This is the most important section on the page, so it comes first.

When you order from our store, these Terms apply, along with our Shipping, Warranty, and Privacy pages. We are the seller. We take the payment, pack the order, and handle any return or warranty claim.

When you click an Amazon or retailer link and buy there, that retailer is the seller. Their terms, pricing, shipping times, returns, and warranty apply to the purchase. In those cases we:

  • Do not process the payment
  • Cannot see, change, or cancel the order
  • Cannot issue a refund or a replacement
  • Cannot control the price, stock, or product description shown on their site

If you are unsure which applies, check where the checkout happened. If you paid on simplycozyhomes.com, it was our sale.

Who Can Use This Site

To place an order you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian
  • Be able to enter into a binding contract
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information at checkout

We may refuse service to anyone who does not meet these conditions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the store and the site change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version.

The version in effect at the time you place an order applies to that order. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Product Information, Colors, and Sizes

We describe every product as accurately as we can, including materials, measurements, and care instructions. Even so, please keep the following in mind.

  • Screens differ. Color, texture, and finish can look different in person than they do on your phone or monitor.
  • Natural and handmade materials vary. Wood grain, marble veining, dye lots, weave, and stitching are not identical from piece to piece. This variation is normal and is not a defect.
  • Measurements are approximate. Small differences within normal manufacturing tolerance are expected, so measure your space before ordering.
  • Styling props shown in photos are not included unless the listing says so.

Pricing and Availability

  • Prices are shown in [USD] and can change at any time without notice. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your order.
  • Stock is not guaranteed. Listings can sell out while an item sits in your cart.
  • We may limit quantities per customer or per order.
  • If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and offer a replacement, a partial refund, or a full refund.
  • Obvious errors happen. If a price, description, or discount is clearly wrong, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full, even after a confirmation email has been sent.

Promotion codes apply one per order unless stated otherwise, cannot be applied to an order that has already been placed, and may expire or be withdrawn.

Orders and Order Acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email is a receipt that we received it, not acceptance of it. The contract is formed when we dispatch your order.

We may refuse or cancel an order when:

  • Payment fails, is declined, or looks fraudulent
  • The billing and shipping details cannot be verified
  • The item is out of stock or was listed in error
  • The order appears to be for commercial resale
  • The delivery address falls outside the areas we ship to

We may also contact you to verify details before we prepare an order.

Payment

  • Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout.
  • Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not intentionally store full card numbers or card security codes on our own systems.
  • You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you enter.
  • You are responsible for any sales tax, import duty, or handling fee that applies to your delivery address, unless the checkout total states otherwise.

Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

Cancelling. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Orders that have not been packed or handed to the carrier can usually be cancelled. Once an order is in transit, treat it as a return.

Returns. You may return most items within [30] days of delivery when they are unused, in resalable condition, and in the original packaging where possible.

Items that usually cannot be returned:

  • Bedding, pillows, and other items opened for hygiene reasons
  • Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items
  • Clearance or final-sale items
  • Gift cards

Return shipping. You cover return shipping for a change of mind. We cover it when the item arrived damaged, faulty, incomplete, or not as ordered.

Refunds. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within [5–10] business days of us receiving and checking the return. Original shipping charges are refunded only when the return is our fault.

Purchases made through an Amazon or retailer link must be returned through that retailer’s own process.

Shipping and Delivery

Processing times, delivery estimates, shipping regions, charges, and what to do about a damaged or missing package are all covered on our Shipping page.

Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the order is delivered to the address you provided.

Warranty

Products bought from our store carry a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Full coverage, exclusions, and the claim process are on our Warranty page.

Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Affiliate Links and Commissions

  • Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
  • We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and similar programs.
  • A commission does not change what we recommend, and it does not give us any control over the retailer’s price, stock, description, or delivery.
  • Prices and availability on third-party sites change constantly. Always check the current details on the retailer’s page before you buy.

Editorial Content

Our guides, comparisons, and picks are general information and reflect our view at the time of writing.

  • They are not professional advice. Electrical, structural, mounting, and child or pet safety decisions depend on your home.

  • Specifications, packaging, and availability change after publication, so the retailer’s current product page is the authority on what you are buying.

Reviews, Comments, and Submissions

If you send us a review, photo, comment, or question:

  • You confirm the content is yours to share and does not break any law or third-party right.
  • You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, edit for length or clarity, and reproduce it on the site and in our marketing.
  • We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, spam, or contains someone else’s personal information.
  • We do not pay for submissions unless agreed in writing.

Emails and Newsletter

We send marketing emails only to people who sign up. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Unsubscribing stops marketing emails. It does not stop order confirmations, shipping updates, or other messages needed to complete a purchase.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, republish, or resell our content or product photos
  • Use bots, crawlers, or automated tools to harvest data or place orders
  • Place false, fraudulent, or speculative orders
  • Interfere with the site, its security, or its hosting
  • Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • Misrepresent yourself as Simply Cozy Homes or as an employee, partner, or affiliate

Intellectual Property

The text, photography, graphics, logo, layout, and code on this site belong to Simply Cozy Homes or our licensors.

You may view, download, and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including republishing or commercial reuse, needs our written permission.

Brand names, product names, and trademarks belong to their owners. We use them only to describe or identify products.

Third-Party Websites

We link to retailers, brands, and other resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, pricing, policies, security, or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

Site Availability

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, hosting problems, or reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties relating to the site and its content, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Product warranties for store purchases are set out on our Warranty page. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Simply Cozy Homes is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income, lost data, wasted time, or loss of use.

Where we are found liable in connection with a product or order, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that product, except where the law requires otherwise.

This section does not affect consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable losses, costs, and claims we face because you broke these Terms, misused the site, or infringed someone else’s rights.

Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, carrier disruption, strikes, supplier failure, fire, flood, power or internet outage, public health measures, or government action.

If such an event causes a significant delay, we will contact you and offer to wait, reschedule, or cancel and refund.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [United States].

If something goes wrong, contact us first at info@simplycozyhomes.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Most problems are resolved this way. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, the dispute will be handled by the courts of [Jurisdiction], unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

General

  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a term immediately, we do not give up the right to enforce it later.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours if the business is sold or restructured.
  • These Terms, together with the Shipping, Warranty, Privacy, and Affiliate Disclosure pages, are the whole agreement between us.
  • Headings are for convenience only.
